This is a list of the current animals available for adoption from Krewe de Rescue.  If you would like to meet an animal we have available for adoption, please fill out the adoption application.

While working in a landfill, a good Samaritan found a tiny puppy and reached out to rescue groups for help. Krewe de Rescue jumped into action and picked up the puppy. The good Samaritan did not see the baby's momma, but we knew she had to be at the landfill somewhere. One of Krewe's fabulous volunteers drove to the landfill and came home with four more puppies and the momma, now known as Brown Sugar. She is such a good momma! When she was found, she was noticeably underweight. She was given a hot dog to eat, but instead of eating it, she broke it into pieces and fed it to her babies! Brown Sugar is currently in boarding at the vet, but would love a home of her own. Unfortunately, Brown Sugar has heartworms, but she is being treated for them.
