Please consider sponsorship. When a pet comes into the care of Krewe de Rescue they are often in need of medical care beyond what we consider "routine care". A lot of times the pets we receive need surgery, skin/coat care, medications for infections, eye or ear care, wound care, etc. The cost for a lot of these "extra" treatments or surgeries are never passed on to an adopter. We rely on donations to get these animals healthy so an adopter only pays an adoption fee that covers some of the basic vet care and microchip. We also rely on donations of food to help our fosters to be able to incorporate a pet into their home. With out donations of food or money to provide basic items like food, leashes, collars, toys etc some of our fosters may not be able to afford to care for one extra animal let alone 2-3 (in a lot of cases more) extra animals.
