Kara was pulled from a local shelter. She had ten puppies all born at the shelter. Only one of those ten survived, and she was recently adopted!
Kara was a very sick girl for the first few weeks after she was pulled from the shelter. She was full of those nasty parasites!
Kara is doing well now and is ready for her forever home! This is what Kara's foster had to say about her, "Kara is one of those special fosters that have windows to their soul in their eyes. I see her pain and believe that she has been chained in the past. Her eyes now show trust, love. She's Perfect!"
Kara is approximately 18 months old, and weighs 45 pounds. She is good with other dogs and with children. She is low energy, but LOVES to play fetch! Unfortunately, Kara has heartworms. She has started slow kill treatment and her fabulous foster is willing to furnish a year supply so that she can complete the treatment.
