Meet Bailey, a 70 lbs., 6-7 year old yellow lab. Bailey came to us from a shelter with skin issues and wounds all over her body. With lots of TLC from her foster mom and the vet, Bailey is making great progress. Bailey is on medicine for her thyroid, which she'll need daily for the rest of her life. She now has a huge smile on her face and is playing it up with the pups here at the house. Bailey would make a wonderful addition to any family, she's great with kids and seeks out attention. She's very gentle and I hate to say it but I've caught my 6 year old nephew stepping on her tail and trying to ride her like a horse and all she did was wag her tail and smile. I've yet to see anything bother her. Bailey is good on the leash she will walk leisurely by your side, she "SITS" on command, well she does it for just about anything. (toys, treats-etc) She will go "DOWN" with an easy lure. She is crate trained, the second I opened the crate's door she threw herself in there. This girl knew what a crate was and probably spent a lot of time in one. So when you say "Go to your crate" she will do just that. She's extremely smart so if you catch her doing something she's not supposed to be doing all you have to say is "Bailey!" or "NO!" you don't have to ask her twice.
