Brandi was found in March with her mom and 3 littermates, confined to the yard of their "home". They were fed only scraps from the table, so if there was nothing left after the family's dinnertime these poor babies didn't eat!!! When we picked them up they all went straight to the vet, where two of the puppies were so heavily infested with worms that the doctors were unable to save their lives. Brandy and her sister Cricket had developed rickets from malnutrition, and their sweet mama Princess was a bag of bones. Cricket and Princess have found great new homes, now Brandi is waiting for hers. Her casts are off and you'd never know there had been a problem with her legs. She is maybe 6 months old and full of puppy energy, although she loves a good cuddle as well. She is great with kids and other dogs.
