Meet Jake. His foster mom calls him Pooh Bear. He is a love bug and is the calmest dog you will ever meet. He is so laid back his foster mom says that he is lazy.
Jake loves to be outside with his person. He LOVES squeeky toys and pup-peroni. He does well on a leash. Jake is good with other dogs with proper introductions. We are unsure about cats. There are none in his foster home. He is learning commands. He mastered "sit" and now he is working on "shake". Jake is a little over a year old and is a big boy. He weighs approximately 65 pounds. Sometimes he gets excited and jumps. He does realize how big he is. Jake is heartworm positive but has started on slow kill treatment. We are not sure what is causing it, but he also has a slight limp. It is not frequent and not obvious unless you are looking for it. It could be a slight ligament tear.
Jake’s adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter and a microchip. If you would like to meet the perfect dog, please complete our application below.
