Cooper is a beautiful five month Red Merle Aussie. When he came to us, he had a severe UTI and a broken leg. The owners declined to have the leg pinned, and it healed on its own fairly well. He does have some muscle atrophy in that leg. He also has something going on with his knee. We are not sure what, and he is too young for surgery. We are just watching it at this point. Cooper runs and plays like a normal puppy until he gets tired, then he will toe touch. Cooper is a LOVE! He has a very gentle spirit--he literally loves everyone he meets, human or dog, and they all love him! (cats unknown) He will run and play, fetch a ball, wrestle with the other dogs (large and small), or will snuggle in the recliner all evening. He loves a lap! He sleeps in his crate all night without a peep, ever. Now that his UTI is gone, he's housebroken. He does wear a belly band at night for accidents. He rarely barks except for when he's playing. He is truly a GREAT DOG! He has a huge heart and has forgiven humans for his injury. He also isn't hyper, and has medium energy. A fenced yard is required. Cooper’s adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter and a microchip.
