This is a list of the current animals available for adoption from Krewe de Rescue.  If you would like to meet an animal we have available for adoption, please fill out the adoption application.

Maggie is 4 years old and weighs 63 pounds. She is an absolute sweetheart. She is very timid until she warms up to her surroundings (2-3 months or so). She gets along with dogs and sometimes with cats. She is crate trained and house trained. Maggie knows basic commands. She loves to sleep under blankets. In fact she sleeps about 15-18 hours a day and does not like to get out of bed until later in the day. She does have moments of play time and the “zoomies.” She walks extremely well on the leash. She LOVES car rides. Maggie is a super sweet girl. She gets along with kids as well. The youngest she has been around is 5-7 year olds. Maggie will need a home with someone that someone that has time to make her feel comfortable and welcome and someone that can be patient and gentle with her. She is definitely an inside dog and does not like the cold at all, so a warm coat is something she would appreciate while being outside.  Maggie has been attacked by a dog before so she is very cautious and usually stays away of them. It takes her about two months or so to warm up to a new dog that she is around. Once she does become comfortable, Maggie does absolutely love to play though. She does prefer to be with males dogs over females or dogs that are more submissive.  She hates the dog park. Maggie has allergies and is on a limited ingredient dog food that keeps them cleared up. Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay and a microchip.
