Cora's journey has been a testament to resilience despite challenges. Initially adopted by a grieving 12-year-old, she struggled to receive the necessary care. Now, she's on a quest for a home filled with abundant love, patience, and the freedom to truly thrive

Her past experiences have shaped her cautiousness around people, and she may respond defensively if approached too quickly. She requires a patient and understanding companion to build trust and foster the relationship she craves. 

A true people pleaser, Cora struggles with being alone and is currently learning to be more independent, especially during nights in her crate. Most of her life was spent confined, impacting her socialization and comfort outside the crate. While she's potty trained using the crate, she's still learning when given freedom in a house environment.

Cora's positive interactions with other dogs have been a bright spot, offering her insights into canine behavior. Despite past confinement impacting her trust in humans, she's on a journey to embrace new connections.

Her past lacked guidance, but in a loving environment, Cora is poised to flourish. With an owner offering patient guidance, love, and understanding, she's ready to embark on a new chapter of joy and growth.
