Twiggy was rescued from a busy road in Mobile. She had very obviously been abused and was malnourished.   Twiggy is a terrier mix (probably JRT) and weighs around 18 pounds. The vet determined she is around 6 years old. She was heartworm positive but has been treated and is now negative. Twiggy likes to spend time outside, but she has never had an accident inside.  She has not been kenneled. She is a very loyal, sweet and loving dog - WANTS to be loved and played with. She does well with children but has had difficulty with the dachshund in her foster home. Her foster family feels that the dachshund is the problem.
