Oliver is a gorgeous and gentle 2.5 year old boy. He is currently weighs 68 pounds and just a little underweight so when he fills out, we expect him to be around 75 pounds. When he's on a leash, he is a strong puller. He enjoys watching and chasing the birds, squirrels, and flying insects in the backyard of his foster home. We think a fenced yard would be best for him so he can safely run and stretch his long legs and explore his surroundings. He is good with other dogs and very submissive. He doesn't bark unless his foster siblings bark. He comes when he is called. He is smart and picks up on cues from his foster siblings right away. He loves to play with his foster brother and younger sister and he gives his old granny foster sister plenty of room and does not try to play rough with her or get in her face. He is curious about his siblings food and unless separated, he will try to help them eat it. He does not show any signs of food or toy aggression. He will sleep on his doggy bed but if you allow him, he will sleep on the foot of your bed with you or snuggle with you. He sleeps through the night and he is housebroken. He will sit by the door when he needs to potty. He has not tried to mark in the house or in the yard since he first arrived. He is curious about human food and will steal from your plate if unsupervised but he doesn't beg, he will just stare into your eyes while you eat. He is tall and a counter-surfer. His new home will need to dog-proof their counters or supervise him -- he does listen when corrected. While he does love to play, he really loves to cuddle on the couch and he really just wants to lounge around the house and the yard, and snooze with his humans nearby. Despite being a young brittany, he is very laid back. Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip and a heartworm test. He was negative.
