Scooter is a 9.5 pound, 10 year old, male
fluffy dog. We were told he is ShiTzu, but we see Maltese. Scooter's Mom loved him unconditionally all his life, but she had to go into assisted living, so Scooter arrived at Krewe de Rescue in search of a new home. Scooter's main requirement for his new home is a lap to curl up on! A more devoted, loving lap dog would be hard to find. Scooter fiercely attaches to his person, is always less than a foot away, and is highly protective. For this reason, a house with small clingy children is not a good idea. Scooter does get along with other dogs, and while he doesnt really like sharing his person with them, ( or other people!) he will tolerate it. We do not know how he is with cats. He is mostly house trained, but needs to be encouraged to go outside freguently, as he does not announce his need to go.
He sleeps all night curled up by his person's neck, and spends his day closely following his person. Want a super-loving lap baby totally devoted to you? Scooter is your lil guy!
