Mona’s story is a sad one. She has roamed as a stray her whole life. She has had at least two litters of puppies on the street. All but one of her last litter were killed by other dogs roaming the streets. She has been shot at, starved, mistreated and she is still gentle, sweet and loving. She is also smart! She was house trained in three days. Like many neglected dogs, Mona is heartworm positive, but she has started slow kill treatment. If you would like to meet Mona, please complete our adoption application.
Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip and a heartworm test.
